New economiser development on the horizon

We are continuing our research and design into making an economiser that can fit onto our 4VT Series boilers.

The flue gas heat exchanger (economiser) is still in the developmental stages, but it would be a unit that is incorporated into the boiler design which allows feedwater to be heated prior to entering the boiler water space.
This means that the burner doesn’t need to fire as much because the water will be hotter and there is less chance of scaling because the water being hotter means there is less oxygen to corrode the internals of the boiler.
